This script is actually a multipurpose command tool. It comes configured for the usual whois, finger, and traceroute, but you can also configure the script with secret codes to execute any commands. Birdseye features a user selectable timeout so you do not have to worry about runaway processes. As with any CGI script, this does have the ability to be misused. Caution, thought, and planning are strongly advised.
