This Perl script allows the user to calculate pipe friction losses for piping systems which handle water with varying percentages of ethylene glycol. The user inputs the fluid temp, the % of glycol, the flow rate, the piping material, the desired pipe size, and the pipe length. The program then calculates the velocity, the Reynolds number, the Moody Friction Factor, the Colebrook Friction Factor, the pipe head loss in FT, and the pipe friction loss in PSI.
