This applet is a Java applet and implements a count down procedure. This accepts a target date and displays the time that had passed from the specified date/time. Unlike other countdowns, which display in days, hours, minutes, seconds, this displays the result in Years, months, days, hours, minutes and in seconds format which is more comprehensible. You can place this in your web page and can also rewrite it as a javascript program.
