IMG-Counter is basically built in PHP script. This counter is called graphic counter. This script also uses cookies to avoid counting a visitor twice when he refreshes the page. It requires no database and the script is REGISTER_GLOBALS- compatible. Due to the GD-library of / PHP that doesn't support gif-files anymore. It is designed to work with png-files and it can be produced using a regular graphical tool.
