This jigsaw puzzle script is a Macromedia Flash MX 2004 UI Component developed and packed as Extension by someFrogs.com. Unlike most other jigsaw puzzle games for Flash, Jigsaw Puzzle v2.2 recognizes the neighbour pieces put near in right direction and then groups them. This makes the puzzle game more real and more fascinating. With this easy to use and customizable flash puzzle component you can build your own jigsaw puzzles that can be published as online flash games or compiled as desktop flash game applications. JigsawPuzzle v2.2 is developed with ActionScript 2.0 and extends Macromedia Flash MX's IUComponent class. The component renders any external image file supported by Flash (non-progressive jpeg and swf) or any symbol in the library marked as Export for Actionscript accessing the symbol with its Linkage Identifier. So preparing a jigsaw puzzle is as easy as providing the component with the Linkage Identifier of the picture symbol. You can also adjust the piece division (4 up to 144), rotation ability of pieces, select one from 5 different shape styles by setting parameters using Flash's Properties inspector or Component Inspector panels to set the instances of the JigsawPuzzle Component.Methods, properties and events supported by JigsawPuzzle component allow advanced Flash users adjust all of the parameters even at runtime. The Commercial license of the Jigsaw Puzzle Component for Flash MX is developer license and includes a different compile that does not trigger the someFrogs brand protection logo and can be used unlimited times in unlimited number of sites built by the developer. A full functional Freeware version of the Jigsaw Puzzle Component for Flash MX with a small "a gig by somefrogs.com" notice is available for download. Any use of this version is accepted while the notice remains intact.
